The Indian team performed well at the Tokyo Olympics. With 7 medals in their kitty, Indian athletes ended their journey in this edition. On the last day, India bagged two medals and one of them was Neeraj Chopra’s gold medal in the javelin throw. Take a look at what happened today.
Aditi Ashok missed the medal from the whisker. In the last three days no one has been paying attention to Aditi’s game but she has been playing consistently and advancing in second place. By the end of four days, she had finished 4th and turned everyone’s attention towards her. At the age of 23, she made everyone proud by performing brilliantly.
Bajrang Punia won bronze medal in wrestling. He defeated world silver medalist Daulet Niazbekov 8-0 in the men’s freestyle 65kg wrestling competition.
Neeraj Chopra became the second Indian to win a gold medal at the Olympics. He successfully ended the Indian team’s journey at the Tokyo Olympics.
