Neeraj Chopra gained fame in sports when he won India’s first gold medal at the World Championships. Later, in Neeraj 2018, the Commonwealth’s surprise performance was demonstrated when he became the first Indian to bag a gold bag of his discipline at the four-year-old event in Australia. Even at the Asian Games, he received gold from his discipline.
For his gold medals at the Asian Games 2018, CWG 2018 and the Asian Athletic Championship 2017, Neeraj was awarded the Arjuna Award in 2018.
