Neeraj Chopra earned over a million followers overnight

Neeraj Chopra became an overnight sensation after winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 men’s javelin throw final. He was crowned number one after his 87.58m throw.

And then there was a terrific rise in the number of their Instagram followers. Javelin thrower followers have grown to over a million on Instagram. Numerous screenshots have appeared on Twitter and Instagram before and after the numbers. It clearly states that people are now taking him as an ideal and looking forward to him.

Neeraj Chopra started his career with the sport to lose a few pounds off his body. He weighed 90kg at the age of 12. Neeraj also hated physical activity and was forced to jog in the morning at Shivaji Stadium, where he once met javelin thrower Jai Choudhury. This is where history formation begins.

The youngest Indian to win Olympic gold, Neeraj debuted in track-and-field, and was the only player to make it to his debut. With the Chopra Gold Medal, India signed the Tokyo Olympics 2020 with a total of seven medals, one gold, two silver and four bronze.
