Olympics Day 14 in India: Several heartbeats –

The final day of the Tokyo Olympics has been a disappointment for India. The women’s hockey team lost the bronze medal, while gold medalist Bajrang Punia lost in the semifinals. Golf guru Aditi Ashok continues her classic form today. Here is a detailed report on India in today’s Olympics.

Hockey – Women’s Bronze Medal:

Our girls fought hard until the last moment but they were defeated by Great Britain 3-4 in the bronze medal match. Although she has not won a medal, Indian women’s hockey players have won our hearts and inspired millions of people across the country.

Wrestling – Men’s Freestyle 65 kg:

There were plenty of expectations on star wrestler Bajrang Punia. Many hoped he would bring a gold or silver medal for sure. However, they defeated Azerbaijan wrestler Haji Aliyev 12-5 in the semifinals. Bajrang will fight Kanchi tomorrow.

Wrestling – 50 kg for women

Senior wrestler Seema Bisla came out on top in the first round as she lost to Tunisia’s Sarara Hamdi 1-3. Seema did not qualify for re-entry because her opponent lost in the quarterfinals.

Athletics – Men’s 50km Race Walk Final:

Athlete Gurupreet Singh failed to finish the 50km race due to spasms and was out of competition for 35km. He was 51st at 35km with a time of 2hrs 55 minutes 19 seconds.

Athletics – Women’s 20km Race Walk:

Priyanka Goswami of India clocked 1 hour 32 minutes 32 seconds to finish the race in 17th place. He lost the 2022 World Championship qualifier in 1 hour and 31 minutes.

Another athlete, Bhavana Jat, finished 32nd in 1 hour 37 minutes 38 seconds.

Athletics – Men’s 4 * 400m Relay:

The group of Amoz Jacob, Arokia Rajeev, Nirmal Nova Tom and Mohammed Anas made history by setting a new Asian record by clocking 3: 00.25. He missed out on qualifying for the final with a whisker. With their tremendous effort, India finished 9th and the top eight teams qualified for the final.

Golf – Women:

Golfer Aditi Ashok continues her amazing run at the Olympics. For the third consecutive day, he finished in second place and filled the hopes of a medal among fans. Three rounds later, she is under 12 (12) with a total score of 201.

Another golfer Deeksha Daggar is 51st after three rounds, with a total of 220 points (7)
